Quick Facts: Breed: Australian Shepherd Gender: Female, spayed Age: 2-5 year old Size: 65 -> 60 pounds Good with… Dogs? Sometimes! See below! Cats? No! Kids? No! Hello! My name is Chloe! I’m an incredibly sweet, affectionate, (but shy/scared) Aussie mix girl! History My former life was rough and scary and left me quite shy and nervous about new people, new places, and unexpected sounds. Before being rescued, I spent some months chained up to a barn and ignored by the people who were supposed to be my people, and where I was before that was also awful, but I try not to think about it. I am thankful every day that the Cornell vet students who came to the farm where I was chained out, offered to take me from those mean people. And I am thankful that those people didn’t want me, and were happy to hand me…

Yes! Cats? Yes! Kids? Yes! 6+ History I was found as a stray and landed in a rough, dismal shelter in Kentucky. Very hard for any dog, but especially for a blind dog who can’t see what’s going on. One of the volunteers there felt so badly for me and so he bought me a special Halo device to help me navigate better which was terrific! And the staff saw that I was the sweetest, nicest, most deserving dog possible, so they worked hard to find rescue for me. And it worked! I was driven all the way up here by the two nicest KY rescue workers and have been having a fabulous time in my…

Kids? 12+ years Bonus: Completely housebroken! Background: I arrived for the first time in the CDR foster program 2 years ago (at age 2), after my owners split up.
