History
I have been with my people since I was two months old. They got me from a breeder in Cornwall Ontario. Over the past year I’ve had lots of fun! I went to puppy training school and am well socialized with dogs and people. My people and I have spent countless hours hiking in the mountains, playing fetch and cuddling on the couch together. I love going to the cottage with my people. This summer I learned how to swim and retrieve sticks in the lake! I’m really good company on road trips and love going everywhere my people go!
Why do I need to find a new home?
I am a very vocal little guy! I know how to be quiet when my people say ah, ah, ah, or shhhhh. Still my people are living in a new townhouse complex without a good place to exercise and without a backyard. My people are looking for home for me with a fenced in backyard, and with people who are experienced with dogs. Ideally there would be one person home during the day.
Personality
I love life and love to play! I am very affectionate. I love cuddles at anytime of the day.
I love treats and will show you my manners (quiet, sit, down and give a paw) to get them!
I love brain games for dogs (https://www.pinterest.com/explore/dog-games/). I especially love the treats or food in a water bottle puzzle.
I love to look out the window and watch everything that is going on. I am very observant (a great guard dog) I will vocalize any time I see something new.

Cohabitation
I get along well with other dogs. I love all people. I’ve spent 5 days living with a cat and it went very well! I love all children but the puppy in me gets so excited that I often jump on them. Most kids don’t like that , so my people keep me on leash when I’m hanging out with kids. This works well.

Medical
I am a healthy little guy. All my vaccines are up to date. I am is protected against heart worm and lyme disease and am neutered. I am protected against bordetella and kennel cough, and do well in doggy day care and boarding (both traditional and cage free).
Conclusion
I am a one-of-a-kind incredible soul. I am loving and affectionate and courageous and brave. I need a loving family, experienced with dogs, who own their own home and have a fenced in backyard.
