Ruby

Hi! My name is Ruby, and I am a gorgeous, sweet, spayed,
4 year old 100% Shiba Inu. Please read what my foster mom recently wrote to the awesome folks at Cayuga Dog Rescue.

Ruby is doing great! She and Sheba are getting along like gangbusters--they play with each other throughout the day and will sometimes snuggle up with each other at night. Ruby has relaxed on our bed with Sheba a couple afternoons too :>)

She is pretty affectionate and will come up and paw Josh or I until we pet her enough--if we stop too soon she paws us again. She really enjoys walks and we take her and Sheba on at least a short walk every day. She is still scared of strangers, but did adjust well to Joshua's grandma staying with us a few days--she actually came out into the kitchen and hung out for a little bit.

Unfortunately, she is really scared of our camera, so we haven't gotten any good pictures yet. We'll keep trying and get some to you soon. We're also hoping to get a Christmas picture with us and the girls for holiday cards, so we'll be sure to send one your way as well.

Thanks so much for bringing Ruby into our lives--She's a very special dog and a great addition to our family!
