Tugg is in his new forever home and it sounds like he is fitting in really well:

Hello Janet (Larry, too!) and Susan!
Attached are some pictures. The one with Mike having Tugg stand on his legs is something we did with Leo each month to show how big/tall he was getting. The one "we should have named him hopps" is deceiving--you can't tell because of the floor, but he is jumping super high.

Playing gets better and better every day. Tugg has discovered that he is quite quick and uses it to keep toys from Leo. It's hilarious to watch because Leo just can't help but chase after him, even though Tugg can stop on a dime and quickly turn. It's cute. They both seem to enjoy the outdoor time together. Tugg is sooo cute fetching because he has this little prance right before he pounces on what he's going after.

Mornings are good and Tugg has had no issues (knock-on-wood) with the schedule we've set. We spend the evenings trying to wear Tugg out and make sure that Leo gets his quiet time (he is SUCH a couch potato--even after sleeping all day!). So far so good. Then Leo goes up to bed with me and Tugg curls up with Mike until his 11 pm walk.

Tugg continues to be a joy and such a good boy! We completely lucked out thanks to you. I've had a few people ask CDR's name/information after hearing about our experience, so hopefully there will be more homes looking to adopt in the future! :)

Thanks again for everything. We'll send more pictures soon.

:) Sam, Mike, Tugg, Leo (and the kitties too--who Tugg seems to be getting along with just fine...he knows the limits of how close he can get...the one cat Cortez was almost in a few pictures because he was so interested in hanging out with the dogs!)

Because of the high rate of accidents between dogs and young children, we rarely adopt out our dogs or puppies into homes with young children.  If you think your particular situation might warrant an exception, please feel free to inquire with us.
