Milo Has Been Adopted!

Hi! My name is Milo! and I am an incredibly sweet, playful, affectionate, generally quiet and cuddly boy!

Personality:

I am a super affectionate boy! I love to be petted and cuddle with my people and my doggy foster brothers. I love snuggling! And being kissed! Even when I am playing with my favorite toy, if you start to pet me, I will roll right over for belly rubs and gaze at you with my soft, lovely, trusting eyes. Most of the time you will pet me a bit more!

I am very happy when you come home or when someone comes to visit (yay!), but don't jump on people in these situations very much. I normally stay back and let you to come to me! I am very sensitive and would hate to be rude, you see!

When I first wake up in the morning, I love to have morning playtime with my doggy foster brother, Bart. We wrestle and wrestle and wrestle with each other and then when we are all tired out, we take a mid morning nap! we get along super great! My other doggy foster brother Duncan is a bit cranky, and I quickly figured out to give him his space and to *play* with him without being physical. I always share my toys and am not possessive at all!

I love to go for walks and sniff around! I'm excited to explore and walk really well on my leash. I prefer quicker walk with stops to sniff and look around. When I see other dogs while I'm on leash I just wag my tail! I am a great jogging companion. My foster mother takes me to the dog park, and I make friends with all of the canine and humans who are also playing. While I love to ride in the car, jumping in the car scares me a bit, but I let my foster mother pick me up and put me in no problem.

I'm extremely praise-motivated. A pet and a little love goes a long way with me! I am a smart boy and know to wait at the door before being let out., and to sit and wait quietly for my treat when I am let back in. I will let you know when I need to go outside, and love to run around in my foster parents fenced in yard. When my foster parents are gone from the house, I am baby-gated in the kitchen or office, and I don't mind this at all, and I don't get into any trouble. I mostly lay down and take a nap, which is aided no doubt by the fact that I probably had 3+ hours of playtime with doggy Bart before they left!

I'm only about two years old and so still have 'puppy" in me! I'm great inside the house and generally know what toys are mine and what are human shoes. I love playing with my foster brothers, and we keep each other happy and tire each other out!

Favorite activities:

Cohabitation:

I currently live with my two foster parents and their two dogs Duncan and Bart, and their two cats Wanda and Penny. I am great with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with another dog to play with. I am a bit timid around the cats, and I am slowly befriending them.

Medical:

I'm a super healthy boy! No issues at all!

Summary:

Super duper affectionate and cuddly, sweet 1 year old Puggle looking for his forever home in which he can have lots of cuddling time with humans and playing with my canine brothers and sisters!

If you are interested in adopting Milo, please fill out an online adoption application and live close to Ithaca , Syracuse, Binghamton, or Elmira. We do home visits on every applicant, and can't do home visits where we don't have local volunteers.

Because of the high rate of accidents between dogs and young children, we rarely adopt out our dogs or puppies into homes with young children.  If you think your particular situation might warrant an exception, please feel free to inquire with us.
