Hi! We are Joe and Trixie, and we are absolutely adorable, lovable, wonderful beagle boys! Our owner passed away a while ago, and since then we have been in dire straits. Family members have been feeding and watering us, but no one has time to do much more, so we are living pretty much on our own outside in a fenced pen. We are so lonely and confused.
We have been outdoor dogs for our whole lives, but our owner used to spend lots of time with us, take us for walks, take us on adventures, and take us hunting with him. We've never lived indoors, so that would all be new for us, but we would LOVE to give it a try! Some folks worry that outdoor dogs would be hard to hosuebreak, but another way to look at it is that we've always done our business outdoors, our whole lives, so that's where we think it's supposed to happen. So, oftentimes, we outdoor dogs are actually the easiest dogs in the world to housebreak!
Won't you consider adopting or fostering us? The family who are currently feeding us are selling our house, and we need to find a new temporary or permanent home in the next 2 weeks (by early to mid-February). Please give us a chance. We are such lovable, friendly, great dogs, wonderful with people and very friendly with other dogs. Not sure about cats, but we could check it out! If you might be interested, please fill out an online adoption application and the rescue folks will forward it to our current caretaker!
