Kodi Has Been Adopted!
Hello everyone, my name is Kodi, and I am a super loving, lovable, friendly and happy 2 year old neutered, male Shepherd mix!
One of the cutest things about me that is very bear-like (and not very dog-like) is how much I enjoy giving hugs!! Maybe that's why someone named me Kodi? I'm sort of like a real live Teddy Bear! I'm a big people lover and seem to like absolutely everyone I meet. When we go by the retirement home, I like to put my head in folks’ laps and they give me lots of petting. If you let me lie down next to you I will lie in your arms and hug you back!
Really, the biggest thing I want in life is for someone to love me...I am over the moon when I get affection and I love being around my people. I'm also great with other dogs, and have a super fun time wrestling around with the other dog in my foster home. I am totally housebroken and have never chewed on anything save my own toys. My foster folks say I am a very, very, very good dog!! I of course still have lots to learn, but I'm good at "sit,” I’m getting better at “come” , and I don’ t pull on the leash. I’ ll talk occasionally but I’m not a barker. I sleep well through the night. We have not had a chance to test me with cats so that is totally unknown.
I was rescued from a high kill shelter because they could see how lovable I am.
