Betty-Boop Has Been Adopted!
Hi! My name is Betty-Boop, and I am a very friendly, very happy, very playful and adorably affectionate 2-4 year old spayed, female Beagle!!!
I was saved from a high-kill shelter in KY and the though the shelter folks there guessed me at 4 years old; my foster mom and the rescue lady here think I act like a 1-2 year old! I'm super playful and bouncy and enthusiastic and unusually affectionate. If you're sitting, I love to crawl up into your lap and have you pet me and pet me and pet me. If you're standing, I put my soft paws on your legs and gaze at you with my big brown beagle eyes inspiring you to pet me!
I'm in a foster home with another beagle and I get him to wrestle and play with me as much as possible. When he's had enough (he's older than me), he lets me know it and *mostly* I take the hint. More info about me coming as my foster mom gets to know me better! But for sure, I'm healthy, happy, and wonderful! If you think you might like to adopt me, please read about the adoption process today and live EITHER within 30 minutes of Ithaca OR very close to Syracuse, Binghamton, or Owego. We do home visits on every applicant, and can't do home visits where we don't have local volunteers.
